To nurture R&D talents with knowledge in convergence technology

Future automotive technologies, mostly represented by autonomous driving, connected car and eco-friendly mobility, are being converged with various types of technology such as ICT, AI and next-generation energy.
Accordingly, it is becoming ever more important to secure talents who can prepare for and realize such technological change in the future. Hyundai Motor Group, in partnership with Korea’s prestigious universities, establishes a contract-based department and recruit the students after graduation to foster talented resources in future technology.

A Difference between Research Scholarship Student Program
and Contract-based Department System

Research Scholarship Student Program

To discover and nurture creative future R&D talents

The Research Scholarship Student Program selects talented students in their bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree courses who will work in various automotive R&D sectors and provide them with practical job training. The selected students receive project-based trainings at labs and complete the courses in connection with the company’s teams. Through these trainings, they grow to become competent R&D professionals of Hyundai Motor Group.

Contract-based Department System

To nurture future experts in the field of automotive electronic control

The Contract-based Department System was launched to foster talents in Hyundai Motor Group’s future technology such as autonomous driving, green car and ICT. The beneficiaries receive tuition support, OJT and project opportunities. The program promotes exchanges with universities, holding joint conferences.
